Leading enterprise software provider SAP has unveiled its latest appointment for the position of Chief Partner Officer in Australia and New Zealand, introducing Ashley McGibbon as the new incumbent.
McGibbon assumes this role from Mark Hettler, who is set to retire after a dedicated 17-year tenure with SAP.
Bringing a wealth of experience to her new role, McGibbon has previously held several high-level positions within SAP. Her most recent role was as the General Manager of Growth Markets for the company. Her career has also seen her contribute to renowned firms like Gartner and IBM.
Damien Bueno, the Managing Director of SAP ANZ, emphasized the importance of SAP’s partners as integral figures who stand alongside customers, ensuring the success of their endeavors and aiding them in realizing the full potential of their cloud journeys.
Bueno expressed, “Our partners play a critical role in our customers’ achievements and the trajectory of our cloud-driven future. With Ashley’s well-known enthusiasm and results-oriented approach, we are poised to reshape and enhance our growing network of partnerships. In a separate development, SAP has also appointed Sofiane Ainine to the position of Executive General Manager of Growth Markets for ANZ.
Ainine has been an integral part of the SAP team since 2014, having previously served as the Head of Mid-Market for ANZ. His earlier experience includes a role at Oracle based in Ireland.
Bueno highlighted Ainine’s new mission, which is to facilitate the realization of business ambitions through technology for mid-sized organizations across ANZ. This will be achieved through close collaboration with the reseller community.
